What You'll Learn
An 8-week course with Srikant Singh, the host of Happy Bellyfish YouTube Channel. Each week, you'll get a new lesson to work through and a dish to cook. Then you'll join Srikant live for Q&A, where he'll answer your questions and share his personal experience and insights into the art of Indian homecooking.
Over 8 weeks, you'll build real skill and real confidence, module by module. (Exact recipes and order may shift a little before launch.)
Setting up your pantry, understanding what quality ingredients actually look like, and unlearning a few myths about what “healthy Indian food” even means.
Simple, protein-forward ways to start the day, with healthy grains, vegetables, and quick sources of protein.
The fool-proof way to make your own dosa and idli, some of the healthiest instant meals you can have.
How to add huge flavor without piling on oil or sugar. Done right, a chutney becomes a nutritious powerhouse.
Cooking with the right amount of oil and fat, not too little, not too much, and layering flavor into vegetables that seem boring otherwise.
Classics like butter chicken or butter paneer, made so they don't need to swim in oil and cream.
The real protein backbone of a vegetarian Indian plate.
The traditional “reset” dish, and how to make it part of your weekly rhythm.
Whole grain rotis and gluten-free rotis.
Building a balanced, repeatable way of eating what you love.
By the end, you won't just have a folder of recipes. You'll know how to cook Indian food — which means you can improvise, adjust, and never need a recipe card again.
You shouldn't have to choose between healthy and delicious. That was never really a fair choice to begin with.
This course is my attempt to close that gap, to show you how Indian food can actually be cooked, before all the shortcuts crept in. Without compromising the flavours, but making your meals highly nutritious and gut-friendly.
Srikant Singh
Hi, I'm Srikant Singh. I run Happy Bellyfish, and I've spent years teaching people around the world to cook Indian food that actually works: for their taste buds, and for their bodies. I'm a certified nutrition coach, but more than that, I'm someone who grew up in an Indian kitchen and has spent a long time figuring out how to bring that same food into a modern life: busy schedules, different ingredients, different health goals… without losing what made it worth eating in the first place.
Why I'm Teaching This
Over the years, I've heard some version of the same thing from so many of you: in the comments, in emails, at my live cooking classes.
Some of you have never really tried cooking Indian food at home. You love it at restaurants, but the spice box looks intimidating, and every recipe seems to need fifteen ingredients you've never touched before.
Some of you already cook it, maybe you grew up with it, but somewhere along the way, the way it's made at home changed a little. A bit more oil here, a shortcut there, more rice on the plate than dal. It still tastes like home, but it just doesn't always feel the way it used to. And you keep wondering if you can have the same taste, but with an amount of oil, spice and sweetness that will support your health goals, instead of ruining them.
And some of you are just genuinely curious about the ingredients, the techniques, or why a certain spice goes in at a certain time. So, you want to actually understand it, not just follow a recipe blindly.
If this sounds like you, then this Healthy Indian Course may be the answer to your questions and frustrations.
What Makes This Course Different
Let's be honest, you've probably bought something like this before. A course, an ebook, a bundle of videos that's still sitting there, 4% watched, making you feel guilty every time you open your inbox. This is built to not be that. Here is what you'll find inside the course:
Ready for you to work through in your own time.
One recipe to master. Not homework for the sake of it, because the only way to learn to cook is to actually cook.
On top of the pre-recorded tutorials. Bring your questions, bring what went wrong, bring what you're proud of.
Every assignment gets real feedback from me, not a bot. If something's off, I'll tell you how to fix it.
Not just during the live call.
8 weeks of lessons and live sessions, plus 6 months afterward to go back through everything at your own pace.
This is human-led, human-checked, and human-taught, start to finish.
No AI-generated fluff or content dump you'll never open.
This Course Is for You If…
- You love Indian food but find the ingredients and technique intimidating, and you want real confidence in the kitchen, not just another recipe you'll never repeat.
- You've had a health wake-up call, and you want to keep eating the food you love, made in a way that actually supports you.
- You've picked up cooking later in life and you're drawn to Indian ingredients for their flavor and their health benefits.
- You're a yoga teacher, health coach, or wellness practitioner looking to genuinely expand what you can offer your own clients.
- You grew up with this food, or married into it, and want to cook it the way it was actually meant to be made, without the shortcuts that crept in along the way.
This isn't a quick-recipe dump or a passive video library. If you're not looking to actually cook along and show up weekly, this probably isn't the right fit (yet).
